i survived my operation! it was a harrowing experience, but the pretty nurses at the cat hospital were very sweet and loving.
when i recovered, i sent text messages out to Dennis and Chedwick to let them know i was okay.
when i got home they rushed to the cat carrier and were nice to me. Dennis got in the carrier right away, so he could pretend he was going to the cat hospital. then we all had a nice luncheon.
it is good to be back home.

i love my home!
We knew you'd come through with flying colors, Eddy! We are very glad that you are home now.
We are Not Allowed to text. Mom says it is not in our plan.
I am so glad all went well for you Edward!
Welcome back Eddy!!!!!!!!!!!
You are well on your way to becoming a Mancat!!!!!!! Enjoy getting spoiled :)

Yay!
How sweet that your uncles (or do you think of them more as big brothers?) greeted you.
Bob will hiss and fluff up whenever a cat comes home from the vet and avoid that cat for days. He used to shun his cat daddy when he'd come home from the bad place, and Elmo, too. Elmo, of course, is so self-centered, that it'd never occur to him to greet another cat after surviving a harrowing experience.
His reaction when Bob came home from the vet after his surgery was:
Dude, you were gone?
(Elmo likes to pretend he's the only cat in the WHOLE world. Nothing makes him happier than when Bob mysteriously disappears to the vet office.)
I'm glad everything went well, Edward.
How do you feel?
Edward, honey, I just posted a video for you over on my blog.
The instant I read your post, one of my favorite songs of all time popped into my head. It seemed rather appropriate, considering your circumstances:
"Feel So Different"
by Sinead O'Connor
What I hadn't counted on was being moved to tears upon hearing it. I haven't listened to it in a very long time. I'd forgotten how much I loved the song, and how powerful it is, how powerful its message is.
So, Edward, my gift to you, and to me, tonight, is that song.
Go listen to it. It'll raise all the hairs on your body, and maybe even make you cry--in a good way.
'Bout time.
I love you, Edward.
Hooray for you, Edward!
Eddy... Dennis missed you while you were gone, but he'll never admit it to you. Don't tell him I told you, Okay?
welcome Back EDDY!
